Community
Crescent Hill residents have always been dedicated to their community. More than 100 years ago, the Crescent Hill Improvement Club was conceived, encouraging the Crescent Hill Forward Club and Community Club to come thereafter. Residents take pride in their community, presenting diverse events while fostering neighborhood unity. Community Events in Crescent Hill include a Chili Cook-Off, Mayor’s Neighborhood Summit and a community-wide Yard Sale, along with several holiday themed events.
Education
Emmet Field Elementary has been a pillar in Crescent Hill for nearly 100 years. Over the last two years, the state test scores have increased and now ranks Field Elementary #9 in the county. Field Elementary is also a national Blue Ribbon School, one of only four in the state.

The local marketplace in Louisville is as diverse as its residents. From distillery and spirit distribution to health care and food service, Louisville offers a bevy of professional avenues for its residents. Major employers include the manufacturing centers of Ford Motor Co. and General Electric as well as a major hub for United Parcel Service.

A short drive from Crescent Hill sits Jefferson Memorial Forest, providing hiking, picnicking, camping, boating and fishing.
